A unit of Nature Safari India Pvt. Ltd, India Bird Watching is an added asset to our list of achievements. With 30 years of wildlife safari experience in India, bird watching came naturally to us. Housing avid birding experts in our team, this project aims to fulfil your thrill of witnessing colorful wings and melodious chirps across the Indian Sub-continent.

India is a humble abode to over 1300 species of birds. Our tours premise themselves on discovering these species in their naturally beautiful habitat. Be it amidst the difficult terrain of the Kanchenzhonga Peak or the fluid plains of the Deccan plateau, you will get an opportunity to sight your favorites, while on tour with us.

A huge reason for our success has been our local guides and drivers in each national park. Sharad Vats is the Founder and Director of Nature Safari India and India BirdWatching, with over 25 years of experience in organizing bespoke wildlife and birding tours across India. A passionate naturalist and conservationist, Sharad began his journey with a vision to share the incredible biodiversity of India with the world through expertly guided safaris and birdwatching expeditions.

Driven by his love for birds and nature, Sharad launched India BirdWatching to cater specifically to global birders and birdwatching enthusiasts. Under his leadership, the platform quickly gained recognition for its authentic experiences and top-tier guiding standards. A key factor in its success was Sharad’s initiative to onboard some of the finest naturalists and local birding experts in India’s top birding destinations—including Corbett, Kanha, Pench, Sunderbans, Western Ghats, Keoladeo, Kaziranga, Nameri, Nal Sarovar, Sultanpur, Ranganathittu, Bandhavgarh, Bhigwan, Khichan, and many more.

Thanks to Sharad’s deep-rooted understanding of wildlife tourism and his commitment to excellence, India BirdWatching is now a trusted name among birders across the globe.
